地质学专业培养方案

专业名称与代码:地质学070601

专业培养目标:本专业培养适应社会主义市场经济需要的德、智、体全面发展的地质学高级专门人才。毕业生具有较全面的地质学基础理论、坚实的数理基础,较好的计算机与外语实用技能,较强的创新意识和科学素养。毕业生能成为科研机构、高等院校从事基础地质研究的专门人才,适应21世纪地球科学发展和国家在资源、环境、灾害、国土规划以及国民经济其它相关领域对地质学人才的需要。

专业培养要求:

1.本专业毕业生具有扎实的数学、物理学、化学、地球科学和环境科学的基础理论知识;掌握地质学的野外工作技能、物质成分分析测试技术及基本的地球科学实验和鉴定技术,具备从事构造地质、岩石矿物、地层与古生物学方面的基础理论研究、应用研究、分析实验、数据处理等工作的基本能力,具有一定的人文科学和管理科学的知识和能力。

2.具有计算机软、硬件的基础知识,掌握一门以上计算机语言的编程技术。能熟练将计算机文字、图形、数据等处理并应用于构造地质、岩石矿物、地层与古生物学研究。

3.掌握一门外语,具备听、说、读、写及对外交流的能力,达到能独立获取信息的水平。

毕业生应获得以下几方面的知识和能力:

1.具有较坚实的数、理、化、外语、计算机基础;

2.掌握地质学的基本理论、技能和工作方法;

3.具有从事构造地质、岩石矿物、地层与古生物等方面的研究能力;

4.具有从事灾害地质、工程地质、环境地质、地球化学、资源开发方面的潜在能力;

5.具有对地学及相关信息处理、成果解释和应用的初步能力;

6.具有良好的科学素养、心理素质、综合能力及一定的管理能力;

主干学科:构造地质学;矿物学与岩石学;古生物学与地史学

主要课程:普通地质学、结晶学及矿物学、晶体光学及造岩矿物学、岩石学、古生物学、地史学、构造地质学、地球化学、地球物理学概论、资源地质学、环境地质学、地理信息系统。

主要专业实验:晶体光学与矿物鉴定、岩石薄片鉴定、古生物鉴定、构造分析。

主要实践性教学环节:地质认识实习、地质教学实习、专业教学实习、计算机程序设计、毕业生产实习、毕业论文。

学制:本科四年。

授予学位:理学学士。

Training Objectives:This program trains the students into advanced professional talents who have all around development of moral, intellectual and physical. They must master the basal theory knowledge of mathematics, physics, chemistry, earth sciences , andmastercomputer skills and one foreign language. They should have innovative ability with the science cultivated manners. These studentsshould adapt to the need of market economy of socialism. They can become the personnel of college or university to be engaged in the study of foundation geology .They can also work in the resources, environment, disaster, national land programmingand the other national sections.

Training Requirements:

1.To master the basic theories of mathematics, physics, chemistry, earth sciences and environmental sciences .

2.To master the skills of composition analysis and simple experiment of earth sciences, capable of dealing with theory and application research on Tectonics, Petrology, Mineralogy, Paleontology, Histogeology, including experimental work and data processes.

3.To acquire abilities on social science and administration.

4.To master the knowledge of computer sciences, capable dealing with data of Tectonics, Petrology, Mineralogy, Paleontology, and Histogeology expertly,mastering at least one kind of advanced computer language.

5.To master a foreign language , with linguistic competence of reading, listening, speaking and writing fluently in English or other languages.

Required Knowledge and Ability:

1.Mastering the knowledge of Mathematics, physics, chemistry, foreign language and computer.

2.To master basic theory, skill and method of geology.

3.To have a primary ability to be engaged in the study of Tectonics, Petrology, Mineralogy, Paleontology, Histogeology.

4.Having an ability to deal with engineering geology, calamity geology , geochemistry, environmentalsciences and resources.

5.Having a primary ability to process and apply the information of earth sciences and correlative information.

6.Having good mental state, the science cultivated manners, being good at work together with others and having administering ability.
